Mount St Helens Overflight – Ham Radio Operations from 9,500 Feet
Feb 15, 2022 • This flight takes us from Tacoma Narrows Airport (KTIW) in Gig Harbor, Washington over the north blast zone of Mount St. Helens.
During the flight, twenty-three ham radio contacts were made on the 2-meter FM national call frequency. All audio from those contacts is included in the video.
The flight concludes with a landing at Vancouver Person Field (KVUO) in Vancouver, Washington.
